The event, sponsored by the city of Milazzo and the Marine Protected Area Capo Milazzo, took place this year entirely in the Levante area, on alternative paths expertly designed to guarantee its safety in safety, repaired by the wind that does not allow the setting up of the original field fields.
The IX Periplo of the boss, included between the races of the Grand Prix Italia Agonisti of the Fin and the Regional Championship of the 10 km, took place on a reduced route to only 6000 meters along the splendid rocky coast of Levante, with departure and arrival on the beach of the Croce di Mare. The race, which over the years has purchased ever greater importance with the participation of athletes from all over Italy, this year has been embellished with the presence of three absolute level champions, for some time in the national team: Andrea Filadelli (GS Marina Militare), Fabio Dalu (GS Army) and Davide Marchello, birth of birth and for swimming training, having grown up in the Corsie of the Asd Ulysse, co-organizing the event, The flight to Rome literally, where he played in the Aurelia swimming, then entering the Army sports group too.
Together with the three Azzurri, all the best Sicilian cross -country founders who shone at the Italian Piombimo championships, for an edition of the Periplo which will be remembered for the very high technical level. Marchello, a recent bronze in the Universiadi and Italian champion on 800 meters, has best honored his “return home” with an attack race, shared with the national teammates.
The three champions immediately created selection with a very high rhythm, and the agonists’ drappello gradually reduced, until they gave in even the strongest: first Mattia Castello, Padova Nuoto, then Tiziano Tripodi, Pol. M. Ferrito. Together with the three heads, only Simone Capostagno (La Fenice) remained, who came out slightly only in the last kilometer. The afternoon race, also held on the alternative path already prepared by the organizing committee, has not only sporting importance. The winners of the Visalli Memorial were Sara Laquidara (Pol. M.
