The price of petrol and diesel at the pump continues to fall. Today’s data – Sunday 12 April 2026 – from the Fuel Price Observatory of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy highlight the third consecutive day of decline in average prices, also due to the downward adjustments indicated by the oil companies. Along the road network, the average price in self-service mode is equal to 1.783 euros per liter for petrol (1.785 yesterday) and 2.162 euros per liter for diesel (2.166 yesterday). On the motorway network, however, the average self-service price is 1.815 euros per liter for petrol and 2.192 euros for diesel.
