The provision that orders the pre-trial detention in prison for Pasquale Pititto as part of the Mistral-Carthago operation is illegitimate.
So the Court of Cassation decided, canceling the decision of the Court of the Review of Catanzaro with postponement which, rejecting the appeal proposed by Mr. Pititto – defended by the lawyers Luca Cianferoni and Giovanni Vecchio, with the collaboration of the lawyers Mara Campagnolo and Antonio Papalia – confirmed the maximum precautionary measure.
This is the second cancellation with postponement after the court of freedom of Catanzaro, called to pronounce following a first ruling of the Supreme Court, had reiterated the compatibility of Mr. Pititto with the intramural custody.
The Cassation considered the reasons for the appeal that censored the decision of the Catanzaro review and the same court will be founded, it will now have to pronounce for the third time.
