The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the US and Israeli attacks on Iran as “a planned and unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent member state of the United Nations, in violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law.”
Zelensky’s Ukraine blesses the US and Israeli attack on Iran
Ukraine, at war with Russia for 4 years, justifies the attack unleashed in recent hours by Donald Trump’s US and Benyamin Netanyahu’s Israeli government on Iran, placing the responsibility on the leaders of Tehran. “The reason for the events of the last few hours – we read in a note from the Kiev Foreign Ministry taken up by the British media – is to be found in the violence and arbitrariness of the Iranian regime, in particular in the killings and repression of peaceful demonstrators”. Ukraine then takes up Washington’s accusation that Tehran has rejected “all opportunities to prevent a violent scenario”, while vowing to “support the Iranian people and their legitimate desire for security, freedom and prosperity”.
