Heavy fall from a World Championship perspective for Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) and Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) also crashed while he was in second position. Fourth is Pedro Acosta (Ktm) and fifth is the leader of the rider standings Jorge Martin (Aprilia), who maintains a 14 point lead over Ogura and 18 over Marc Marquez. Absent is Marco Bezzecchi who underwent surgery this morning for a fractured left collarbone.
