In fact, the signing magistrate of Messina has accepted the request presented by the lawyer Giuseppe Di Renzo concerning provisionally (up to the decision of the surveillance court) the concession of the benefit of house arrest, with electronic bracelet, due to the serious health conditions of his client, incompatible with the prison regime.
Gaetano Emanuele was serving the sentence of a year for violation of the supervised freedom to which he was subjected by virtue of the previous sentence to 16 years and 11 months of imprisonment for mafia and drug trafficking association remedied in the anti -mafia operation called “light in the woods”. Gaetano Emanuele is the brother of the boss Bruno Emanuele, currently detained to serve a definitive sentence of life imprisonment for the double murder of the boss rival Giuseppe and Vincenzo Loielo.
