The prefect of Crotone, Franca Ferraro, has adopted five anti-mafia disqualification measures against as many companies operating in the agricultural, construction and food and beverage supply sectors.
«These measures – it is written in a press release released by the Prefecture – arise from complex and detailed investigations aimed at bringing out concrete and current symptomatic elements of companies’ permeability to the interests of organized crime, to protect the healthy economic fabric and free competition in the market. The prefectural measures in question – it is highlighted – constitute an important result achieved thanks to the decisive contribution of the Interforce Anti-Mafia Group, established at the Prefecture, made up of representatives of the local Police Headquarters, the Provincial Commands of the Carabinieri and the Financial Police and the Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate Operations Center of Catanzaro”.
