As announced a few days ago, they arrived on the website of New Hospital of the Piana (in Palmi) The first mechanical means. The works of the third large hospital that will rise in Calabria began this morning. The regional councilor Giuseppe Mattiani Present on the spot during the taking of the areas by the company, it did not hide all its emotion, for a long -awaited moment.
“A historic day. Seeing the company on the site immediately to work with mechanical means and with great enthusiasm, makes the idea of the importance of the moment and of the great work that has been done. Nothing has been left to chance. Everything has been planned in detail to reach this day ready. We have shown that even in Calabria there is a political class that works well, which struggle, which looks to the primary needs of the citizens and that wants to change this region. Another important goal but we don’t stop. of Reggio Calabria, the hospital of Polistena, of Locri and Melito Porto Salvo and the doctors engaged in the aforementioned structures no longer make it, although they continue to resist. That deep injustice called healthy health that, for years, has destroyed the life of hundreds of Calabrian families.
And it is to the Calabrians that the director Mattiani addresses his thoughts:
“In these years of regional legislature I have thought very much about the injustice that all of us Calabrians in many cases are forced to undergo when we need a certain type of care. The travels of hope are unacceptable and we must say it with absolute decision. The Calabrians must have the right to take care of Calabria, with healthcare nearby. Our boys must also have the right to form in our health structures and our good medicals must be able to express their skills in avant -garde hospitals. Passi, as unfortunately, the complexity of the state of Calabrian health imposes, thanks to this immense work we are turning the page.
