New judicial troubles for the former Messina lawyer Andrea Lo Castroalready sentenced in the context of the “Beta” anti -mafia operation, which shed light on the relationship between the Romeo family and the Catania clan of the Santapaola. The Castro had also been arrested in the “default” operation, conducted by the Dia and the Guardia di Finanza, for a series of illicit maneuvers aimed at saving businesses in economic crisis at the expense of creditors.
In these hours a vast operation of the Guardia di Finanza is underway, which is carrying out a seizure of goods attributable to Lo Castro – radiated by the order after the final sentence to 9 years for external competition in mafia association – and to the lawyer Francesco Bagnatoknown for its activities in the real estate sector.
The seizure, of a preventive nature, is part of a new investigative vein and will be followed by the appointment of a curator for the management of the subtracted goods.
The castro and wet, in addition to being involved in this new investigation, are also attributed in the process linked to the default operation, started in 2019. The sentence is expected by the end of the year.
