To allow the renovation of the flooring within the “Serra Spiga” galleryalong the A2 “Mediterranean” motorway, Anas has scheduled some night closures in the province of Cosenza.
In detail, the stretch between the junctions of Cosenza Sud (km 260.951) and Cosenza Nord/Rende (km 254.924) will be banned in traffic in both directions, in the time slot 21:00 – 07:00, according to the following calendar:
North direction (to Salerno): closing from 9:00 pm on Wednesday 2 July to 07:00 on Thursday 3 July 2025
South direction (to Reggio Calabria): closing from 9:00 pm on Thursday 3 July to 07:00 on Friday 4th July 2025
During the closing hours, the traffic will be diverted along alternative routes, suitably reported:
For those who travel to the north: mandatory exit at the Cosenza Sud junction, continuation along the urban roads, graft on the SS 107 “Silana-Crotonese” and return to A2 at the Cosenza Nord/Rende junction
For those traveling south: compulsory exit at the Cosenza Nord/Rende junction, continuation along the SS 107 and urban roads, return to A2 at the Cosenza Sud junction
The intervention, scheduled at night to minimize the inconvenience to circulation, is part of the broader extraordinary maintenance plan of the motorway network managed by Anas.
