The knife, the kicks, the fists, the chairs. A night of ordinary domestic madness took place between Friday and Saturday in Reggio Calabria, touching the tragedy. Only thanks to a timely call to the emergency number 112 could the worst be avoided.
The carabinieri of the Reggio Calabria company intervened in a city house where a man, unemployed and with numerous police records, made himself the protagonist of aBrutal aggression against his former partner, the mother and even the daughter of just seven months.
The soldiers of the Radomobile section and the RC-Principale station, which arrived quickly on the spot, reconstructed a shocking dynamic: The man would have violently attacked the former partner with kicks and punches in the head, for reasons still to be clarified.
During the scuffle, The newborn daughter was accidentally hit in the head by a chair launched by the attacker, reporting hematomas.
The blind fury of man did not stop there: The mother of the man, present at home in an attempt to bring calm, was hit with a kitchen knife on the neck and hip.
The weapon was promptly recovered by the carabinieri and seized.
The victims were entrusted to the care of the healthcare personnel, while the attacker, at the end of the formalities of the ritual, was transferred to the “G. Panzera” district house – Argechillà plexus, at the disposal of the Reggina judicial authority. Once again, the immediate intervention of the police proved to be decisive to avoid irreparable consequences.
