The old railway station in Piazza Marconi will not be put up for sale. Indeed, the intention of the municipal administration is to recover it and include it in the redevelopment plan which also concerns the former railway yard and the former Montecatini, as part of the ambitious “Traimari Park”. Confirmation came from reading the disposal plan where the asset is not present.
However, it will now be necessary to include the real estate compendium in the master plan. «It is absurd in fact – they point out at Palazzo dell’Aquila – that the former railway station of the city of Milazzo, purchased almost 30 years ago by the Municipality, is not regulated by the urban planning instrument and is not even present in the relevant tables».
