An accident at work occurred this morning in Contrada Garbo, in the municipality of Patti, a few kilometers from the junction of San Cosimo. To lose life Biagio Rizzo, born in 1988, Resident in Quattro Finaidi, in the territory of Montalbano Elicona.
The thirty -seven -year -old was crushed by a small tracked half while he was carrying out cleaning work within a hazelnut owned by an elderly of the places. According to a first reconstruction, Rizzo was on board the small tractor when, due to a difference in height of the land, he would have overturned, remaining crushed by the agricultural vehicle. The 37 -year -old would have been extracted from the lifeless vehicle. On the spot the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Patti, under the command of Captain Giuseppe Rinella, who immediately started investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the mortal accident. In the meantime, the body has been seized at the disposal of the magistrate on duty and will be transferred to Messina for the autopsy examination
