It thundered so much that it rained. The regional secretary of the Democratic Party, Nicola Irto, intervened to put the pieces of the mosaic back in place… went crazy.
The provincial secretary Matteo Lettieri, on whom a motion of no confidence signed by 32 members of the dem assembly is pending, remains in the saddle flanked by three party companions who represent the different democratic “souls”. A choice dictated by the need to continue negotiations to identify the candidate for the presidency of the Province (voting on March 8) and define lists and alliances. In such a delicate phase, the internal frictions and heated conflicts end up damaging the interests and compromising the very prospects of the major political force of the centre-left.
