The Polish authorities invited their citizens to leave Belarus immediately and not to go. “The Foreign Ministry recommends refraining from all visits to the Republic of Belarus and asks Polish citizens who are at the time of leaving its territory immediately”, reads a press release from the Polish ambassador to Minsk, who cites the tense situation on the border and mentions arbitrary arrests of Polish citizens.
On the night of September 12, three days after the incursion of alleged Russian drones in its airspace, Poland had closed all the border passes with Belarus, coinciding with the beginning of the military exercises joined with Russia, and reopened them only yesterday.
