A discount to farmers on the folders emitted by the water reclamation consortia, which in many cases has never arrived in the fields. It is one of the few rules on which the leaders of the center -right parties found the agreement yesterday, in view of the marathon who will begin this morning in the Budget Committee at the Ars. And it will be a battle, given that the deputies made more than 900 amendments on the quater maneuver.
Renato Schifani brought together group leaders and party secretaries yesterday, together with the councilor for the economy, Alessandro Dagnino. And there the support of all was expressed to a DC proposal that initially aimed to completely compensate the farmers affected by the water crisis. For some months now, the payment of the irrigation fees has been suspended but 15 million would have served to block it completely. The majority has instead allocated 5 million which will allow a strong discount on all the roles delivered to farmers.
Also understood on the rule that allocates 10 million for an extra bonus of value between 500 and one thousand euros one -off to the regional ones. The ongoing evaluation in the last few hours is linked to the possibility that this bonus will also be extended to employees of the investee companies and related bodies. Hypothesis that would impose the search for additional resources.
Schifani, on the other hand, definitively stopped an amendment of the DC which provided to allocate 2 million in favor of the Department of Local Authorities, led by the Christian Democrat Andrea Messina, to deliver to the mayors contributions for events in the Christmas period. In the same way, the possibility of replenishing the expenditure chapters for events was denied to Fratelli d’Italia. For Schifani “we must avoid in the quater maneuver to endorse discretionary expenses”.
