Championship Sunday for Reggina, called to enforce the prediction that sees the Amaranths as clear favorites over Sant’Agata. At 2.30 pm Trocini’s team will face an opponent who has lost important pieces in recent weeks. The latest is the striker Di Piedi, who arrived in January and has already scored three goals, but moved to Enna in the last few hours. Previously the team from Messina had said goodbye to the midfielder Kouamè who moved to Sancataldese and precisely that Capomaggio who Reggina called up for the match. These are heavy transfers for a team that has come back from three draws and five defeats in the last eight matches. Sant’Agata is currently second to last in the table and has not won since November 10th (3-1 against Nissa). At the Granillo the home team’s task will be to face the match with the right approach. There is some coincidence in this data, considering that in the last three matches the Amaranths have conceded goals at the first advance of the opponent, but to be a candidate for the record, every detail must be improved. Trocini’s line will still be that of tactical continuity. There are no reasons to change the direction indicated by a 4-3-3 which works thanks to the insertions of the midfielders and the great quality ensured by the wingers of the trident. Despite some absences, the amaranth coach will have a fair choice in every department. We start, as always, from the unders, for whom a confirmation is looming for Lagonigro (2006) in goal and Giuliodori (2004) on the right defensive line. Doubt, however, on the left where Ndoye (2006) confirmed himself in great form and Cham (2005) is back from an excellent performance with goals in Favara. In defense there will be the return of Adeo after the disqualification alongside Girasole. Laaribi, who may have put his physical problems behind him, should play in front of the defense with Porcino and Barillà as midfielders alongside him. Salandria and Forciniti are out due to physical problems, but the alternatives Urso and Dall’Oglio still make the midfield extremely competitive. Confirmation also for the trident with Barranco flanked by Grillo and Ragusa. The three are asked to continue on the path that has seen them produce goals and assists in every match in recent weeks.
