The countdown was triggered: ten days are missing at the official debut of Reggina 2025-2026. The debut is set for August 31 in the Italian Cup with Vibonese. The headquarters of the neutral field is still missing (there is always the Palmi hypothesis), but we are now in the last curves of the pre -season. A path that was useful to set up a team in line with the aim of exceling, but also to collect sensations of different atmosphere compared to the previous two seasons. The skepticism in early July has left room for a moderate trust that was a prerequisite that had never been since the current company has settled. After a two -year period in which Reggina was almost never before in the standings in Serie D (apart from a few minutes and the first day of the second season) it was legitimate to demand an organic up to par. Also because the previous ones always had something less than other opponents. This was not normal if it represents amaranth history and playing the maximum amateur championship.
This year, however, each piece seems to be in its place. There is technical continuity with the past season, there are category players (even the hard core in fact is, after the previous vintage), there are elements from the higher series, there is a rose built well in advance for a precise tactical project, there is a square that seems on the point of returning to lighting up. In the next few days, among other things, an evening presentation of the team in the city center should be organized.
