Technical inspection of the mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà, in the northern area of Reggio, in relation to the extraordinary maintenance interventions of the municipal roads. The opportunity allowed the first citizen to verify the progress of the executive project “Interventions for the extraordinary maintenance of the flooring and the road body along the municipal roads”, with particular reference to the lot relating to the Sambatello areas, Decreasen, Catona, Contrada Prioli and Rosalì, for a total gross amount of 1,107,141.66 euros. The project, curated by the Rup Bruno Doldo, Domenico Macrì works manager, is divided into eight functional lots that will affect the entire section from Catona to Rosalì. The interventions planned concern the milling and scarifies of the road surface, the restoration and replacement of the bases of the waste water drains, the cleaning of the cunes and the conduct and, where necessary, the purge of the same.
“A further concrete sign of attention to citizens who live in the rewarding and peripheral areas of the city – clarified the mayor – road safety covers priorities and interventions such as this aims not only to improve the practicability of the roads, but also to guarantee conditions of greater safety for motorists and pedestrians. It is not an isolated intervention, but an overall plan, divided into multiple lots, which will allow to intervene in an organic and structured way throughout the territory, improving the quality of life and the accessibility of even the most decentralized areas. The municipal administration – concluded Falcomatà – will continue to monitor the state of the works and inform citizens about the developments of the project “.
