“We have presented an interpellation to Parliament to the Minister of Health Schillaci and the interior homologous planted, to shed light on the inconscious affair of the request for electoral support made by the order of pharmacists of Cosenza in favor of a candidate for Forza Italia and, therefore, of the candidate for the center -right president for the regional elections of 5 and 6 October”. “As everyone now know – they add – in recent days the provincial order of pharmacists of Cosenza has sent a circular to its members, by certified e -mail, to ensure the reception of the email, bearing the invitation to support a candidate of Forza Italia connected to the governor candidate, complete with a note of presentation and facsimile of the electoral card. The document bears the signature of the President of the Order, Costantino Gigliotti. A very serious act that profoundly undermines the principle of impartiality and political neutrality that professional orders by law must observe, and which exercises an undue and unheard of psychological pressure on all members of the professional register “.
“For this reason we have signed an interpellation in which we ask the competent ministers if they intend to intervene in order to ascertain the responsibilities of what happened and safeguard the same professional order which is seriously damaged in its reputation. In the text we also solicit the ministerial leaders, as far as they are responsible for the opening of a rapid jurisdictional and disciplinary procedure against the responsible subjects, to protect the professional exercise and to guarantee the underlying public interest. We also ask the ministers to ascertain whether there have been violations of the rules governing the equal conditions in the electoral competitions and specific violations that allow to configure the inelegitability of the sponsored forzist candidate “.
