The center -left, already on a strong delay compared to the indication of the candidate president of the next regional regional ones in Calabria of 5 and 6 October and the formation of the lists, further risks getting waged between crossed vetoes and repeated gaffes. As reported by Open, there would be a WhatsApp audio message by Fernando Pignataro (former parliamentarian and current regional secretary of the Green Green Alliance) who risks creating a mandling in an already weak and fragmented “coalition”.

The 11 -minute audio message
«Comrades and companions. I believe that this choice to make a vocal communication serves to give news to those who are wondering what happened yesterday ». This is how – reports Open – with an incipit from the 70s rally, the 11 -minute audio begins that on 12 August the regional secretary of alliance Verdi and left, Fernando Pignataro, sent in the WhatsApp chat of the Italian left managers. The opening seemed diplomatic, but already in the first seconds the tone turns into a series of revelations that made more than a nose turn up, discovering the background of the center -left coalition in view of the next regional in Calabria.
In the vocal message, which in a few hours made the tour of numerous chats up to the phone of the secretary of the Democratic Party Elly Schlein – which according to rumors would have said “Furibonda” – Pignataro speaks openly about vetoes, tensions and political games internal to the parties.

The tridic knot and the shadow of a “dirty game”
The speech then slips on the possible candidacy of Pasquale Tridico, M5S MEP and name that the Democratic Party would be ready to support. For Pignataro, this move would serve to “brake” an AVS candidacy, already publicly claimed by Angelo Bonelli. According to the secretary, however, behind it would have a more complex strategy: Tridico would have already made it clear that he wanted to give up, and the M5S would still have proposed to him and then point, later, on the deputy Vittoria Baldino. “A somewhat dirty game game”, he defines it.
The veto on stasis
Pignataro then faces the Flavio Stasi case, mayor of Corigliano-Rossano, one of the names taken into consideration by AVS together with Mimmo Lucano. According to him, in the Democratic Party there would be a political veto against Stasi, attributed to the group of Senator Nicola Into, in turn in the running for the candidacy.
Reactions and tense climate
The response of the Calabrian dem would have been very hard. Some local representatives would forcefully stigmatized Pignataro’s behavior. The climate in the coalition is now hot. One thing, however, seems certain: Avs aims to run with stasis. It remains to be understood if Tridico will really accept the game or if the “game” will move on to the next phase.
