The reasoning is (almost) unanimously shared by all professionals. The candidacy of Pasquale Tridico reopened a game that seemed already lost for the field of Calabrian progressives. However, this could prove not sufficient: to really compete for Calabria in the center -right, the data of the participants in the vote will be decisive. Over the entire Republican temporal span, this territory has always characterized itself as the one with the lowest rates of participation in the vote, a phenomenon that has been accentuated in the last fifteen years: we have gone from a participation in the regional ones in 2010 of 59.3% to 44% recorded in the last three elections of 2014, 2020 and 2021. In essence less than a Calabrian out of two exercised its right to vote.
