With over 11 thousand preferences, Giovanni Calabrese wins a seat in the Regional Council of Calabria, being the first of those elected for the Brothers of Italy in the Southern Constituency. Former mayor of Locri for two consecutive terms and outgoing regional councilor with strategic mandates such as work, environment and tourism, Calabrese confirms himself as a reference figure in the political panorama of the territory. “I am very happy for this positive result and for the victory of the centre-right,” declared Calabrese on the sidelines of the count. «Once again Roberto Occhiuto has demonstrated that he is a great president and that he has a clear vision for the future of our Calabria. My personal result fills me with satisfaction: it is the result of constant commitment, work in the area and the trust that many citizens have wanted to renew in me.”
