Was A man denounced for illegal combustion of waste surprised by the carabinieri while attempting to dispose of domestic materials by burning them directly on the beach. It happened at dawn last Thursday, along the coast of the Municipality by Gioia Taurowhere the soldiers of the local station were engaged in a patrol service.
The attention was drawn by a column of smoke visible at a distance, coming from a coastal area. Approaching for a check, the man was seen away from an area in which a fire had been set. The remains of burnt materials, attributable to waste of domestic nature, were still present.
Once the dynamic has been ascertained, the man was stopped, identified and reported in a state of freedom.
