All frozen until the election of the new President of the Region. The national government seems to have “married” a waiting and prudence line on Calabrian health. The sector, if the ordinary activity of the Health Department of the Region is excluded, is practically paralyzed: proof is the last decree issued by the commissioner structure dating back to last August 6. Since then, thanks to the resignation from the position signed by Roberto Occhiuto on August 20, then nothing more. Palazzo Chigi seems to have gave up to entrust full powers to one of the two sub-commissari (Ernesto Esposito and Iole Fantozzi) still in office and, therefore, everything suggests that we will have to wait a few more weeks to have a figure fully legitimized to make decisions in the field that most of all needs to be ruled in Calabria.
