A new heavy accounting blow is coming to the Municipality of San Ferdinando. The Region has warned the immediate payment of 580 thousand euros with the threat of an injunction. The reason is linked to the failure to start work on the cycle path on the Mesima river. The issue dates back over time and started during the previous administration: for the implementation of the “Plan for the tourist enhancement of the areas of naturalistic interest of the rivers and regional natural parks” approved in 2021 by the Regional Council, a 40% advance had been received on the financing granted for the project for the construction of the “Cycle path on the Mesima river”.
In fact, the Region had decided to pay the sum of 580,000 euros to the Municipality of San Ferdinando as an advance.
