Exactly 10 days after the council meeting on 16 September (hotly contested between the Prime Minister, Marco Ambrogio and the mayor Antonio Barile), yesterday – albeit toned down – the municipal meeting marked a truce.
Certain that there is no, nor will there ever be, convergence between Barile and Ambrogio, the Council was able to take the path of synthesis, so much so that after three and a half hours of debate the proposal of the opposition councilor Luigi Foglia was approved unanimously (with the sole absence of councilor Francesco Fragale in the chamber). «We propose to all work together to guarantee the hiring of “Gli Invisibili”, of the precarious workers Law 15/2008 (Giubbe Rosse), to “transition – if possible – the students of the Gol projects to the mountain project of the Province, once “Gli Invisibili” have been hired”, while for the workers of the “Rosso Tono” we ask to extend the redundancy fund».
