Just a few days ago the celebrations for the blue flag also obtained for the beach of Santa Margherita Promoted by the Centro Messina Centro Association. A day entirely dedicated to the sea, to the fun and enhancement of the territory between sports, music villages on the beach, between beach volleyball pitches, football football, inflatables and DJ sets.
The vandals that damaged the skate supplied to the lifeguard last night thought about ruining the party. He was thrown into the sea and went to the drift. He was recovered off the coast of Giampilieri, albeit without rouches. Just a few days before the symbol of the celebrations had been damaged: the blue flag. And even before the planters.
“A serious gesture – writes Messina Social City – which hit everyone, because it was not only a means that was damaged, but a public service designed for the safety and well -being of the whole community”. The skate, as evidenced by the images, went to the drift but after a few hours, thanks to the reporting and collaboration of some citizens was found in the water and recovered. “We condemn what happened firmly – writes the president Valeria Asquini – but today we want to publicly thank those who have chosen not to turn on the other side, showing that the care of the territory is a collective responsibility. The coast, the beaches, the public services belong to everyone. Defend them means defending the quality of life of each of us”.
