The Municipality of Mesoraca expresses “with profound pride and sincere gratitude” an audience commendation to the deputy abiligader Antonio Brizzi, 34 years old, originally Delpaese of the Province of Crotone, for the heroic gesture made in Parma.

On duty at the Operational Unit Radiomobile of the Carabinieri of Parma, the Deputy Fremish BRIZZI saved a woman who was trapped in an apartment on fire, jeopardizing her life in order to rescue those who were in danger.

«Being carabiniere means giving everything for others. If we had stopped to think that we were without protection, that woman would have died ” – these are his words, which testify to the courage, the sense of duty and the humanity that distinguish him.

After graduating from the Donegani Institute of Crotone, Antonio left Mesoraca and entered the Carabinieri weapon in 2013. Since 2019 he served in Parma, first at the station, then in the radio radio.

His spirit of service seems inscribed in fate: Antonio is the brother of Giuseppe Brizzifellow citizen and urban policeman tragically disappeared in 2009, invested while carrying out his duty in the province of Parma.
