Start of the school year in the name of great news. These are the premises with which we work in view of the reopening of the schools in Botricello.
In just three years the municipal administration is radically changing the face of education, thanks also to the profitable collaboration with the manager Isabella brand and with all school staff. The profitable relationship with the manager of the Institute of Higher Education Giovanna Moscato is also fundamental in the planning of all activities.
There are three new complexes under construction: a kindergarten in via XVII October in via di Finzione; a nursery school in via Aldo Moro during completion; A second nursery in area 167 during the design. For these three constructions, an investment of over 2.2 million euros is active.
Added to this is the implementation of new canteen premises in via Rinascimento, with a loan equal to over 330 thousand euros. The renovation of the facade of the school in via Renazione, thanks to a financing of 140 thousand euros, are also being contract.
The total renovation of the Via per Botricello Superiore building has already been awarded, which will be the subject of work of energy efficiency that will allow you to have a completely renewed and avant -garde building, thanks to a funding of 340 thousand euros.
All the works relating to the entry canopies of existing schools have been completed. This is a choice strongly desired by this administration and which has allowed to equip all buildings with adequate entrances with an allocation of about 100 thousand euros.
Overall, in this year, about 3.2 million euros are investing on schools.
The application dedicated to school services also changes, with the decision to provide a leaner mechanism for families. Among the many innovations, also a loan of over 33 thousand euros to enhance the service for younger children, while the School in via per Botricello Superiore will be provided with a play area of which it has always been without.
Finally, the adult education center located in via Rinizza was equipped with new furnishings with the aim of providing an adequate and functional structure, given the great success achieved.
In these days, the city councilor with delegation to education Paola Catrambone is following the correct performance of all the necessary interventions before the start of the lessons, thanks to the fundamental aid of the technical office and the companies concerned.
The mayor Saverio Simone Puccio thanked “the offices and administrators for the important work carried out in the school sector, thanks to which we have obtained extraordinary results, revolutionizing the sector and offering a quality of absolute level. Our young people will be able to attend increasingly safe and efficient buildings, significantly expanding the services offered as in the case of nursery schools that they will be able to host, at the end of the works, 48 places”.
