Back and forth between the people of Vannaccia and the mayor Murone after the latter attempted to reassure and calm things down regarding the Roma issue and their movement to some Aterp accommodation in the Razionale neighbourhood. In fact, in giving an interview to an online newspaper, the mayor denied social alarms or risks to public order, accusing the Futuro Nazionale councilors of exploiting the protests that have been taking place in the same neighborhood for a few days. For their part, Massimo Cristiano and Carmine Villella are not on board and consider Murone’s statements “serious and offensive towards citizens who are simply expressing their concerns”.
Furthermore, the Vannaccians are keen to remember that the issue had already been raised by them when they still resided in the majority and, «as far as we are concerned – they underline – there has never been a majority meeting, never an information, never an explanation on what was developing at the institutional tables on Scordovillo. If the mayor participated in these discussions – they continue – explain why he didn’t inform his majority.”
