“Governor Occhiuto and the local administrations of Calabria adhere to the facilitated definition provided by the Quinquies scrapping”. This is the appeal launched by the CNA Catanzaro led by president Giovanna Vono.
“In the case of Municipalities and Regions, the facilitated definition is not automatic, but optional. The Scrapping Quinquies represents an important tool to allow companies to regularize their tax position, lightening the burden of sanctions and interest and thus promoting business continuity. However, without this being also adopted for local taxes this opportunity has less impact, especially on Calabrian micro and small businesses which for years have been in the trenches between difficulties in accessing credit, increases in energy and raw materials, as well as a market crisis”.
“Calabrian businesses – states President Giovanna Vono – need concrete and timely measures. The application of the quinquies scrapping to local debts would be an important signal of attention towards the productive fabric and would help support employment, investments and legality”.
The president reiterates her willingness to discuss with regional and local institutions, in the interests of businesses and the economic development of the territory, underlining the importance of the CNA as a ring representing the needs of businesses, the true backbone of the local economy.
