Next Tuesday, September 1st, the month’s pensions will be credited. The payslip will also contain space for the tax adjustments linked to the 730 form of 2026 for pensioners who have indicated INPS as a withholding tax.
Refunds and withholdings with 730 adjustments
The operations may translate into refunds, for those with credit, or in withholdings for those who have yet to pay sums to the tax authorities. Tax assistance activities began already with the August installment: 4 and a half million pensioners received Irpef credit adjustments, while deductions were made for approximately 500 thousand.
If debt installment payments have been requested, withdrawals must still be completed by November.
5% withholding for those who have not communicated their 2022 income
In the September payslip, a deduction will also be made for pensioners who have not communicated their income for 2022 to INPS, despite receiving benefits linked to their income situation. For those interested, a reduction equal to 5% of the amount of the pension paid in July is foreseen.
The missing data must be transmitted by September 15th: otherwise, the income-related benefits, referring to 2022, will be definitively revoked.
Finally, the withholdings already started will continue to recover fourteenths and additional amounts found not to be due after the income checks.
