All eyes are focused, in particular, on the Municipality of Serra. The majority of the Administration, led by the mayor Alfredo Barillari, last year on the occasion of the renewal of the Provincial Council had participated in the round by voting “no ballot” also to underline their intent to change the province, not recognizing themselves in the Vibo province. The situation was particular, the competition was lacking. Today the picture is different and in any case, until the change occurs, we are still members of the province of Vibo.” Barillari recalls that the discussion of the change of province has been underway for years, even if the first concrete acts were produced only recently; despite this, Serra did not fail to express his provincial councilors (Galeano and Franzè) belonging precisely to the Barillari majority. Meanwhile in Serra the debate on the change of province does not go away.
