The regional government has launched the plan for the new hospital network. The document, which has already obtained the favorable opinion of the permanent conference of the health programming, will now land on the Tables of the VI Commission (Health) of the Ars for the mandatory opinion provided for by the legislation and, subsequently, will return to the Council for the definitive approval, before being sent to the Ministry of Health for the final green light.
“This plan – declares the president of the region, Renato Schifani – represents a fundamental step towards a more fair and efficient healthcare for all Sicilians. The new network aims to guarantee high quality standards uniform throughout the territory. I trust – adds Schifani – that the Health Commission shares the plan and in any case we will remain open to any form of dialogue in relation to future additions or changes during the work “.
