The single allowance for October 2026 will arrive in families’ accounts on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd October. These are the dates set by INPS in the official 2026 payment calendar for those who already receive the benefit and have had no changes in their situation.

Different times, however, for new applications, for modified procedures and for payments affected by adjustments. And something new weighs on the amount: the checks launched by the Institute on the declarations used for the ISEE.

Single check October 2026, payment dates

For the month of October, the INPS calendar provides for two credit days, Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd October 2026, reserved for services already in progress which have not undergone changes.

Anyone who submits a new application will normally receive the first installment in the last week of the month following the month of submission. The monthly payments affected by adjustments, whether credit or debit, are generally also paid in the same window.

How much is due with the single allowance in 2026

In 2026, the ISEE amounts and thresholds of the single and universal allowance were revalued by 1.4%. The basic fee for each minor child goes from a maximum of 203.80 euros per month, for families with ISEE up to 17,468.51 euros, to a minimum of 58.30 euros for those who do not present the ISEE or have an indicator equal to or greater than 46,582.71 euros.

To these figures are added the increases foreseen, among other things, for children under one year of age, for some families with at least three children, for children with disabilities, for mothers under 21 years of age, for families in which both parents have an income from work and for large families. The actual amount can therefore significantly exceed the basic amount and changes depending on the composition and economic situation of the family.

Isee 2026, because the amount can change

Since March, INPS has been calculating the single allowance on the basis of the 2026 ISEE: anyone who does not have a valid ISEE receives the minimum benefit.

Those who already had an application in “accepted” status did not have to resubmit it for 2026: disbursement continues automatically, except in cases of lapsed, revoked or rejected applications.

INPS checks on DSUs, possible reductions in the allowance

In recent weeks, the INPS has started checks on the Single Substitute Declarations (DSU) submitted to obtain the current ISEE, comparing the self-certified data with the information present in its archives.

Those who fall within the positions to be explored further receive a communication from the Institute. Until the checks are concluded or the documentation is updated, the allowance can be temporarily recalculated as in the absence of a valid ISEE, with a consequent reduction in the amount.

Whoever receives the notice can present a new DSU, also through a Caf, or provide the competent INPS office with the documentation demonstrating the correctness of the data declared.

How to check the payment of the October single allowance

The status of the application, the amount due and the payment instructions can be verified on the INPS website, by accessing with Spid, Cie or Cns the section dedicated to the Single Allowance or the citizen’s social security file. The same information can also be consulted on the Inps Mobile app.

For the majority of beneficiaries, therefore, the October credit will arrive on 21 or 22 October 2026. Anyone who finds a different sum than usual will do well to check for any changes in the ISEE, adjustments or INPS communications on DSU checks.
