Regarding the water water emergency, it was created in Reggio Calabria for a failure of the IPOT Minta, Sorical confirms that the problem is being resolved and this is confirmed in a punctual way by the first analytical results that emerged from the sampling plan to the storage and compensation tanks affected by the phenomenon.
The chemical and bacteriological analyzes already performed confirm the non -existence of any bacteriological contamination, resulting in this aspect perfectly compliant, thus confirming what has already been said in the first instance, that is, that there is no risk of microbiological contamination.
They remain in some mild insulting tanks for as detected by the connected indicator parameter, as a consequence of the complex problem detected and which simply represent a bland presence of suspension solids that do not arouse any concern.
The existing order, for which revocation will be requested only after the complete exceeding of any non-compliance, requires for the moment and for exclusive precautionary reasons, the use of the resource for only hygiene-sanitary uses.
In the meantime, an additional step of counter-analysis has already been planned for tomorrow at the sites already monitored and a further and contemporary massive sampling of strategic-points identified within the municipal distribution network that provides towards the houses and which also has been affected by the problem.
This actions aimed at a more prominent control and monitoring of the quality of the resource will be carried out, will also be performed using an additional accredited external laboratory.
As already announced, in confirming that the situation does not cause concern, we plan to definitively resolve the question within 2/3 days, given the complexity and length of the networks involved.
