A man was injured following an accident between a scooter and a 50 minicar which occurred during the night along Via Nazionale, in Spadafora. The causes of the collision are still under investigation. After the particularly violent impact, one of the vehicles damaged the glass window of a bar, shattering it. The loud bang attracted the attention of residents and people in the area. Rescuers and the police intervened on site. The driver of the scooter was injured, while the military carried out the necessary investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and ascertain any responsibilities.
The shock was profound for the owners of the premises involved, who suddenly found themselves having to deal with the damage and the great risk involved. “It was a huge scare, we are destroyed and tired after the night”, declared the owners of the business, visibly shaken by the incident. They then launched a heartfelt appeal to motorists, including young people, passing by: “We invite everyone not to run on the road. You can never be too careful and such accidents can have dramatic consequences”. The business resumed regular operations this morning. The glass on the roadside is still visible, although the area has been made safe.
