The wife of Franco Fava, the 55-year-old construction worker who died on the evening of August 15th in his home on the outskirts of Stignano, a small town in Reggino, was entered in the register of suspects in a state of freedom, but was not arrested.

After a long interrogation, which ended late at night, the public prosecutor of the Locri Prosecutor’s Office ordered the woman to be registered in the register of suspects without taking further measures against her.

The trauma to the back of the head

According to what emerged from the first findings of the medical examiner, and pending the autopsy which will be carried out in the next few days, Fava died due to severe trauma to the back of his head, presumably caused by a fall on the floor during a heated argument with his wife.

The causes of the fall need to be clarified

The investigations are conducted by the Carabinieri of the Roccella Jonica Company and coordinated by the Locri Prosecutor’s Office. The investigations will have to establish the causes of the fall and clarify whether it was accidental or caused by something else.
