They will not disappear bullets but a stinging pepper spray. New guns for self -defense arrive in Taormina, assigned to environmental inspectors enrolled by the Municipality to carry out control and supervision of the environment and waste, in order to protect the territory from any form of pollution.
The Municipal Administration has entered into an agreement for two years with the “Agroforestal Corps” Volunteer Association of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto and the members of the partnership will support the local police in environmental surveillance activities, free of charge and with reimbursement of expenses, contributing to the fight against the abandonment of waste and to the protection of the territory in collaboration with the municipal services company, which manages the waste sector.
