A poster along State Road 113, near the Termini Bridge and a few steps from the border with Barcelona, ​​breaks the apparent political truce in advance and throws the Rodì Milici community into a complex and heated electoral campaign. There’s a lot missing, but there are those who are already ready.
The entry into the field of Eugenio Aliberti, current mayor of Rodì Milici, is not only the announcement of a candidacy for mayor of Terme Vigliatore in the spring 2027 administrative elections, but points to a geopolitical revolution for two communities whose administrative fates today appear intertwined. With a poetic quote, in full 90s style – “It’s time for it to be time” – the accountant mayor has more or less frontally chosen the path of breaking through the deadlock, challenging the consolidated leadership of Bartolo Cipriano, the pharmacist who sits in the highest seat in Terme Vigliatore, on the strength of his fifth mandate and who, for the outgoing majority, remains the point of reference and the director for his own re-nomination or for a challenge entrusted to someone in his group. Aliberti shifts the center of gravity of his action to a neighboring territory, larger than “his” Rodì Milici, leveraging ten years of administrative experience without real opposition.
