Federico Basile and Francesco Cannizzaro together again, on Monday in Reggio Calabria, this morning in Messina. Never before have the mayors of the two cities of the Strait walked arm in arm as in recent months, and to say that in the last electoral campaign it seemed that the dialogue should be linked to the same party affiliation. Today the dialogue exists and is extremely close even without there being, at least currently, political sharing, although developments in this sense, as we see on the opposite page, exist and could be a factor in this very solid relationship between the two mayors.
Mayors who this morning, at 11 in the Bandiere hall of Palazzo Zanca, will meet the press «to take stock of the path of dialogue and collaboration started in previous meetings and illustrate the next lines of development», we read in a statement early yesterday afternoon.
