The Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Lamezia Terme opened an investigation to shed light on the collapse yesterday, in the Sambiase district, of the lateral wall of a four -story building. In the collapse there were neither victims nor injuries. The families who lived in the building were cleared and the building was declared unusable. The prosecutor’s investigation is aimed at verifying the dynamics of the collapse and ascertaining any responsibilities. The investigations were delegated to the police station, assisted by the municipal police. An element that is taken into consideration in the investigation is that in the same area in which the collapse occurred, excavation works were underway for the construction of the foundations of another building.
