A summit between the Russian president Vladimir Putin and the American one Donald Trump should be held “in the next few days” on “proposal of the American part”. This was said by Russian presidential councilor Yuri Ushakov, mentioned by the Interfax agency.
“On the proposal of the American part, a high -level bilateral meeting was substantially agreed in the next few days, that is, a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump,” said Ushakov. “Now, together with the American colleagues, we are starting the concrete preparation,” he added.
Ushakov said that during yesterday’s meeting between Putin and Steve Witkoff, the US correspondent “mentioned” to the possibility of a trilateral among the presidents of Russia, USA and Ukrainian but that “the Russian part left this option completely without comments”, reports the tax.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked for a face -to -face meeting with Putin to end the war, after Donald Trump’s special correspondent had talks with the Russian leader in Moscow. “In Ukraine we have repeatedly affirmed that finding concrete solutions can be really effective to speak at the level of leader. It is necessary to establish the times for such a meeting and the range of issues to be addressed,” said Zelensky on social media, the day after talking to the President of the United States, who said he could meet Putin “very soon”.
