AND' Caterina Chiaravalloti the new president of the Court of Appeal of Reggio Calabria. The plenum of the CSM resolved it this morning, with a vote that saw it split: for the nomination of Chiaravalloti – until now president of the Latina court – in fact, there were 16 votes in support (including that of vice-president Pinelli) , just one more than those expressed for the other candidate, Olga Tarzia, currently president of the section in the Reggio judicial office. There was also an abstention in the plenum. Chiaravalloti, in the judiciary since 1989, in the past – from 1990 to 2002 – was a prosecutor in Catanzaro, where she then also carried out judging functions in court and in the Court of Appeal. From 2009 to 2013 she was out of role to carry out the role of legal advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and, after returning to the judiciary in 2013, she led the Castrovillari court until January 2018, when she was appointed president of the court of Latin.
