A moment of lightness has turned into a viral gaffe for theSouth African influencer Michelle Sky Hayward. On July 8, in Bloubergstrand, near Cape Town, the young woman immersed himself in an expanse of white foam at sea, documenting the experience with enthusiasm: “I am having fun so much that I don’t even feel the cold,” he said on video.

A few moments later, a sip of water and a comment: “It is salty”. But the atmosphere changes when on social media the hypothesis begins to circulate that that foam came from sewage exhausts. Comments like “that’s sewer water!” And “the foam is made of feces!” They multiply, making the video viral.

Hayward then responded to criticisms declaring that he had not ill and that he did not perceive strange smells. However, the doubt about the origin of the foam remains, in an area known for the presence of unloads not treated at sea.
