The “Messina Città di Antonello” exhibition open to schools: visits with free admission

With the aim of conveying knowledge of the genius and works of the great artist Antonello to the younger generations, the municipal administration invited the heads of the first and second level schools to promote the visit of the «Messina City» exhibition to their students. by Antonello. An educational path for schools on life and works”, promoted by the Department of Cultural Policies and curated by the “Antonello da Messina” associationchaired by Milena Romeo, with the scientific support of the art historian Grazia Musolino, former director of the Superintendency of Environmental Cultural Heritage and of the regional Museum.
The exhibition of reproductions of Antonello da Messina’s works, set up at the Palacultura, in a space inside the Gallery of Modern Art, will remain open to the public and schools until 23 February.
Visits take place on odd days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), in the morning.
The visit, with free admission, lasting approximately one hour and 30 minutes, also includes the spaces of the Library, the Vara and Giants Museum and the Immersive Room. The maximum number of participants per visit is 60 students per shift.
