As per time schedule, Sorical is continuing the works for the optimization of the distribution of drinking water in Catanzaro Lido. A new Torrazzo tank with accumulation capacity of 5000 cubic meters will enter the end of the year while in the meantime, for functional excerpts, complementary and strategic works will be put in operation for the perfect functioning of the new hydraulic scheme, among these the new air -adduction line and relative maneuvering chamber by the party baron to the Stillo tank.
A first stretch, from the party Baron to the young tank, is already in operation. The connections from the young tank to the Stillo tank will now be made. This new conduct will immediately allow to lower the operating pressure by avoiding breakage and to combine all the water users of this area of Catanzaro Lido to the water network with an accumulation tank in the lead. In this way, interruptions of water supply are avoided also for a simple maintenance intervention.
Sorical and the Municipality of Catanzaro have agreed the work on the new section of conduct on Wednesday 23 July, from 8 am and until 3 pm and, to minimize the inconvenience to the population and rebalance the tanks as soon as possible, the water supply will be interrupted by the tanks from Bellino, Barone, Tiriolello, Giovino and Stillo and from the direct barbaruzza ditum for the districts/zone Bellino, contrada, Adige, via Curtatone, Catanzaro Marina band from Fiumarella to Area Stella Maris, Viale Crotone and Traversa, via Sicilia, via Izzi De Falenta, via Nazionale, via Strait Antico, railway houses.
