After the positive experience of last year, the “Social Emergency Response” service starts again in Crotone. This was communicated by the councilor for Social Policies Filly Pollinzi

The Italian Red Cross, identified following a public tender, will manage this important service intended for the municipalities of the Area: Belvedere Spinello, Cutro, Isola Capo Rizzuto, Rocca di Neto, San Mauro Marchesato and Scandale, in addition to the municipality of Crotone, lead body of the district.

Prins (Social Emergency Service) has an operations center connected to the toll-free number 800 262 646 for immediate access to the service by users, police forces and staff from the social, health and judicial areas.

There will be qualified personnel who will answer the phone calls and will be able to count on an administrative area for the management and control of interventions and a purely operational core consisting of the emergency response team.

The operational unit, in particular, will have at its disposal tools and emergency kits, for adults and children, both summer and winter closely linked to the interventions and a financial allocation that will allow it to find, if necessary, suitable structures to welcome the rescued users .

“We are proposing a service that has already brought interesting results and which above all is important to guarantee timely assistance in particularly emergency situations. A service that constitutes a further sign of attention towards fragile categories at risk of marginalization” declares councilor Pollinzi
