The Carabinieri of Catanzaro, supported by soldiers from the Vibo Valentia Dog Unit, carried out an extraordinary service in controlling the territory aimed at combating widespread illegality, particularly in the southern area of the capital.
Hundreds of people and vehicles checked, high fines for violations of the highway code for over 6,000 euros, 4 people reported for various crimes to the judicial authority and several reports to the Prefecture for personal use of drugs.
Of the 4 people reported, in particular, following a house search, one was found in possession of some marijuana plants, another two people were found to have violated the mandatory expulsion order from the municipality of Catanzaro issued by the Police Commissioner and, finally, another person, subjected to house arrest, was reported for escape.
